Four members of Super Cr3w -- Do-Knock, Ben, Ronnie Boy, and RJ -- made a rare appearance in New York. On March 27, Jon Jon got to meet the America's Best Dance Crew Season 2 winners at the Prime Club, and sent the above photo.
The next day, we were able to interview them between their rehearsal and their appearance at the Blender Theater. The total interview is about 20 minutes long, so we've broken it into five videos and will run one for the next five days.(Apologies for the sound -- the heating system was very loud in the room). In Part I, they talk about what they've been up to since the end of Season 2.
Come back tomorrow for Part II, where they talk about their recent work and discuss how they've used the $100,000 prize money.

Our field reporter Salima Koroma has a sneak peak at America's Best Dance Crew's Week 6, and her backstage coverage (which will be posted in the next day or two): "Week 6 of ABDC will prove to fans just who's really the more dominant sex: males or females! Yep, get ready for Thursdays episode of Battle of the Sexes! The theme is very fitting since there are two guy groups left as well as two girl groups. The Fly Khicks and Beat Freaks team up against Strikers and Quest in an incredible dance battle that you guys surely won't forget. The episode is extremely fun whether you're rooting for the guys and the girls. And, in terms of eliminations, let's just say that everyone will be pretty surprised by tonight's outcome.
I was able to talk to the Beat Freaks this week, and they were nice enough to show us a few dance moves they'll be using on the dance floor in this week's show. And, hanging out at ABDC this time were a couple of members from last season's winning crew, Super Cr3w. It was extremely exciting to see these guys there! After crew member Vex accidentally stepped on my microphone, he apologized profusely and struck up conversation that turned into a cool, fun interview with him and fellow crew member Do-Knock. They talk about which crew they're supporting, what they did with the winnings, and if they could show me some of their favorite dance moves. Apparently, the guys are huge fans of the "Night at the Roxbury" dance moves (you'll see when you watch the video)!"
Thanks Salima for the report and pictures! I can't wait to see your Beat Freaks and Super Cr3w videos too!

Leave it on the Floor will feature news from the fashion and dance culture scene. In Episode 1, Nothing but Strings (a hip hop violin duo!) play with JabbaWockeeZ. Here's the link. (I'm not embedding these videos on my site because they launch automatically, which gets annoying really fast!)

Super Cr3w sat down with Tragic Glory Clothing/Nulife Entertainment for a video interview, on JReyez' channel. Some of the questions are familiar (how the crew was formed, how does it feel to be a champion, advice for dancers), some are touching (the impact on their families), and some surprising (what it's like to run Super Cr3w the business. how they'll make SC3 'more than a household name').
Full Force Crew (a pioneering B-boy group that includes Ronnie Boy, Rockadile and Do Knock from Super Cr3w) celebrated their 14th anniversary in Las Vegas this week and inducted their newest member -- Kid Rainen from JabbaWockeeZ.Here's the action, from RawVegas.

Melee from SuperCrewandfriends sent us a link to the new promos for America's Best Dance Crew Season 3. As reported earlier, the two ads (a 90 second and a 30 second version) use robotics and Super Cr3w to emphasize the precision shown by the best dance crews. And, at the end of the ad, it gives January 15 as the date for the first episode.
Canadian America's Best Dance Crew fans have started posting videos from the Canada tour. Here are my favorites: Ionezo3 got close-up with Fanny Pak in Toronto:
Here's LetRyGuyIn's video of the SuperCr3w Finale. The channel also has freestyle videos -- somewhat obstructed but worth watching:
